Simple Baked Tofu

There’s a lot of debate about soy, but if you choose to include some vegan proteins in your diet, make sure to opt for the highest quality versions out there. You can find organic, sprouted tofu in natural food stores. this is made from sprouted, non-GMO beans and is far less reactive than conventional soys. Be sure to press the water out of your tofu for better browning and to allow it to absorb the flavors better. This quick toss can be cooked right up ~ unlike most tofu recipes, it requires no marinating time and can be on the table in minutes. Try it with the Orange Teriyaki Sauce for a special treat!
